More than a bar
For years Tordenskjold has been the meeting place on Soi White House for people who like good company and an honest welcome.
Stop by for a morning coffee, an ice-cold beer or a long evening with friends. Regulars and first-timers end up at the same table. Friendships start here, stories get told, and good evenings begin. Whether you are in Jomtien for a few days or a few years, there is a seat and a smile waiting.

Skomager
Our Søren Søgaard table sits at the centre of the bar. Twice a week we play Skomager, the social Danish pool game. Experienced players and first-timers share the same table, and there is plenty of laughing.
Everyone is welcome. Next game: Tue & Thu 13:30

05 · Why Tordenskjold?
1690–1720
The Thunder Shield
One of the most famous heroes in Danish-Norwegian naval history.
The bar is named after Peter Jansen Wessel Tordenskiold. Known as “Thunder Shield”, he became a legend for his courage, his leadership and his remarkable victories at sea.
He was thirty when he died. Three centuries later, his name hangs over a bar in Jomtien.
